Marys Children are the dolls that I make for sale. I order a great deal of my materials from Glorex - orders are sent to them approximately once a month. Glorex will only supply shops or doll-making businesses but, as many of you would like to buy their goods in small amounts, I offer the opportunity to combine your orders with my own, thereby giving you access to all their stock. However, I have to reach a fairly large minimum amount for each order that I send in, as it is not feasible for Glorex to ship out smaller orders. You will therefore understand that, in periods of slack demand, there may be a delay of up to four to six weeks before I can deliver the items that you have ordered. I do not have any room for keeping stocks in hand other than the things that I use most frequently myself or find a ready market for at doll fairs. If I have got something you want in stock, then I will dispatch it straight away - but this is not often the case.
Therefore, when you order items you will realise that they are 'special' orders and not from my own stock, and therefore not necessarily items that I would use or could easily re-sell. You should, of course, return any item that is faulty and it will be returned by me to Glorex for immediate replacement, but items that have no faults (and faults are rare as Glorex materials are of excellent quality) cannot be returned. Having said that, you can always contact me and, if I can, I will always help you to resolve any problems you may have with the goods.
Orders for Erika Catellani kits or Christine Bohm dolls will also take about a month to fulfil unless I happen to have the required items in stock.
In all cases, I will keep you informed as to what is happening to your particular order.
